Topic: New Entrepreneurs

All students will complete one Current Event assignment per chapter to be handed in on at the end of the course. The purpose of this assignment is to have a better understanding of what is happening in the world around you. Current Event assignment topics will change for every chapter. They must be turned in on time and done correctly to receive full credit. Current Events turned in late, without a valid excuse, will receive a zero, as a grade.

Your Current Event must be typed. Do not turn in the article used for your assignment, please document it in your response. Below is the proper format to be used each week. Remember to use the heading below and that each section must be numbered, labeled, and complete.

Name (first/last)

Chapter Title:  (i.e. Chapter 1:  New Entrepreneurs) 

Title – (Title of the article)

Publication – (Name of the newspaper, news magazine, website that you found the article on. Do not use a television.)

Summary – (Summarize, in your own words, the article in 1-2 complete paragraphs.)

Relevance – (Relevant to you? How will/can/does this article impact you or children your age? Explain in 1-2 complete paragraphs.)
