TV Commercial

Use a video recording software to record your commercial. Add in background music, edits, and provide full information of the business/product/services you are advertising. Try to create a TV commercial that grabs and maintains the audiences’ attention. On the side, write why you chose the object or business you are promoting and the process you used to create your commercial.  Don't forget the 4P's of marketing.

If you're not comfortable with recording yourself, type out the transcript for the commercial.  This is done all the time and people not only record commercials but other people write them as well.

Take your time, you'll have until the break to work on this.

5 Tips for Creating an Effective TV Commercial
  1. Represent Your Brand Clearly. Using both verbal and visual cues, your brand's name, logo and perhaps even the product itself should be conveyed throughout the commercial.
  2. Create a Storyline.
  3. Develop a Signature Character or Theme.
  4. Keep it Simple.
  5. Don't Cut Corners.
